Dear Amanda,

Thank you for responding to our call to help make a difference for New York City’s students. We are pleased to inform you that you have advanced to the interview stage with the NYC Teaching Fellows program.

All of the resources that you will need to learn more about the interview process and to schedule an interview are available on My NYCTF. To view available interview dates and schedule your interview, click on the ‘My Calendar’ tab. Once you have signed up for an interview event, please review the ‘Interview’ tab carefully to obtain details about interviewing, including how to prepare for the event and what to bring with you.

As you decide when to schedule an interview, please keep in mind that most Midyear Fellows will begin training in mid-September and will be required to take the LAST and subject-appropriate CST on August 25. Your interview date is tied to the date that you will be notified of your admission status; therefore, it is to your advantage to schedule an interview as soon as possible to allow yourself the maximum amount of time to prepare for training.

If you have any questions about the interview process or the Fellowship, please do not hesitate to e-mail Fellows@schools.nyc.gov. Congratulations on your invitation to interview for the NYC Teaching Fellows Midyear 2007-2008 program—we look forward to meeting you at an upcoming interview.

Sincerely,
Signature
Vicki Bernstein, Director
Office of Alternative Certification
